Adrienne Lawrence – MC
Adrienne Lawrence is a SportsCenter anchor at ESPN as well as legal analyst. Before joining ESPN in August 2015, she practiced law for eight years in California, Maryland and the District of Columbia. As a litigator, Adrienne had a wide range of clients – from representing members of congress on the hill to representing A-listers in Hollywood. When not providing great content to sports fans, Adrienne spends time volunteering with organizations focused on victims and disability rights. Adrienne is a native of Northern California. She has a B.S. from the California State University of Sacramento, an M.A. from CUNY-John Jay College, a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and an M.A. from the University of Southern California.
Eliana Nunez is Strategic Operations Senior Director at Cigna Corporation. Eliana has over 30 years experience in the Healthcare industry, with work experience ranging from Operations, Program and Portfolio Management, Business Architecture, Change Management and has extensive experience in leading Diversity and Inclusion in the organization. Her expertise is in leading collaborative enterprise-wide change within extensive multi-layered matrix organization driving strategy into execution, implementing foundational processes and enabling decision making for achieving customer centricity changes, operational effectiveness and efficiency, and driving delivery of large enterprise-wide IT initiatives and strategy implementation. She co-leads the Hispanic-Latino Colleague Resource Group at Cigna providing a platform for change in our customer and talent development strategy. In addition, Eliana has a passion for volunteerism work and has served on the Latina A.R.M.Y. Board of Directors since May 2013. This non-profit organization was established in 2009 focused on supporting the positive life development of young Latina girls.
Born in Medellin, Colombia, Mrs. Nunez immigrated to America as a child and was raised by her single mother while living in the inner city of Hartford. Both Mrs. Nunez’s family and her own environmental experiences helped shape her passion and resilience for higher achievement. She is a Latina Army Volunteer focused on providing young Latinas with accomplished role models.
Mrs. Nunez holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Central Connecticut State University and has her Global Credential as Project Management Professional (PMP), Change Management certification, and Leading Scaled Agile.
Tracey Noonan & Danielle Vilagie
Tracey Noonan is the CEO and Co-Founder of Wicked Good Cupcakes, Inc. along with daughter, Dani Vilagie COO and Co-Founder.
Wicked Good started in the South Shore home kitchen of Tracey and Dani in 2010. They opened their first retail location in Cohasset, MA October of 2011. In 2013 a second retail location was opened in Boston’s historic Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
The company now 5 years young, has grown to be a nationally known, multi-million dollar brand thanks to an appearance on ABC’s Emmy Award winning show, “Shark Tank” and subsequent deal with Shark, Kevin O’Leary. Wicked, has grown to be a 12 million dollar business since its airing on Shark Tank 3 short years ago.
Wicked Good cupcakes is now the largest shipper of cupcakes in the US and has added a host of products including cheesecake, cake, pies, brownies and gluten free cupcakes in jars. Recently, Wicked Good entered into a co-branding opportunity with billion dollar business, Cinnabon and is currently in start up phase for nationally franchised cupcake trucks.
Tracey and Dani have appeared on Season 4-8 of Shark Tank, ABC’s Good Morning America, 20/20, the Kris Jenner Show, the Meredith Vieira Show, CNBC’s Squawk Box, Fox Business with Cinnabon’s Kat Cole, Start Up USA, Food Factory, ABC’s latest hit, Beyond the Tank, Say Yes to the Dress and as a guest on QVC.
Tracey was a 2015 and 2016 Semi Finalist in the prestigious Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year competition. Tracey also mentors female MBA students for Babson College’s Innovative WIN Lab.
Wicked Good Cupcakes, Inc was ranked #511 for Inc. Magazine’s top 5,000 fastest growing privately held companies, 2016. Wicked was also ranked #9 as one of the “Fast Fifty” for in the 50 fastest growing privately owned companies in MA this past April, 2016.
In July of 2016, Wicked Good finished building out and moving into their new 21,000 square foot baking, corporate office and warehousing facility in Hanover, MA. Other commercials bakeries are located in East Norristown, PA.
Wicked Good Cupcakes donates regularly to Veteran’s groups, Animal Shelters and promotes their “Pay it Forward Friday” in which a different charitable organization is picked every Friday. A $1.00 from every online sale goes to that particular charity featured that Friday.
Tracey’s first book, A Wicked Good Idea hit the shelves this past October. Tracey enjoys public speaking and motivating women of all ages to live to their lives to their fullest potential.
In her spare time Tracey enjoys playing the drums, learning Italian, traveling with husband Scott and her 3 Boston Terriers, Schilling, Sophie and Rocco Antonio.
Dani’s main focus is on the day to day operations in the company’s new 21,000 square foot facility in Hanover, MA.
Dani also heads up Wicked Good’s “A Taste of Home” campaign which organizes and ships cupcake jars to service men and women in Afghanistan, Iraq and Japan.
Dani serves as an ambassador for young people looking to begin their own businesses as well as those suffering from Bi Polar Disease.
Dani lives at home with her husband Brian, her two cats and three dogs. In her free time Dani enjoys 4 wheeling, snowboarding and various artistic endeavors.
Nelba Marquez-Greene, LMFT has deep knowledge and a long history of service in the area of mental health. She is a clinical fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and has worked in private practice, community mental health and academic settings in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to founding the Ana Grace Project of Klingberg Family Centers, Nelba served as the Coordinator for Klingberg Family Therapy Center’s outpatient child and adolescent psychiatric clinic and was an adjunct faculty member at Central Connecticut State University. But of all the titles she’s ever held- being a mother to Ana and Isaiah and wife to Jimmy are her most treasured.
The Greene/Marquez-Greene family had only moved to Sandy Hook, CT from Canada four months before the shooting that took their beloved daughter’s life. Ana Grace was 6 years old.
Nelba and her husband Jimmy have partnered with Klingberg Family Centers to develop “The Ana Grace Project.” The goal of The Ana Grace Project is to promote love, community and connection for every child and family. “Love wins” is the family slogan they adopted after Ana’s senseless murder. It inspired the composition of a song by the same name written by Harry Connick, Jr. This movement is one of increasing relational connections- and is improving and saving lives. Nelba maintains an online community of over 100,000 followers and an Ana Grace Project community where people from all over the world learn, share, grow and witness love through grief. She has bravely shared bits of her life both before and after the tragedy. Behind this is the belief that not only does Love Win- it will also save lives. The Ana Grace Project has adopted classrooms in New Britain that focus on social and emotional learning. They have hosted mental health conferences and professional learning opportunities. All with a staff of one (Nelba), an army of volunteers and a world class advisory collective that includes: Bruce Perry, PhD (author of The Boy Who Was Raised as a Dog), Bill Modzeleski (formerly of the US Department of Education), Marian Wright Edelman (founder of The Children’s Defense Fund), Alice Forrester, PhD (Clifford Beers Clinic) and Noel Casiano, PhD (Youth Challenge, CT)
Nelba holds a Bachelor of Music from the Hartt School and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Joseph College. Nelba was the founding member of the Connecticut Association for Marriage and Family Therapy’s (CTAMFT) Diversity Committee and has served on the CTAMFT Board of Directors. For her efforts, she has received the 2004 Minority Fellowship Award by the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), the 2004 Distinguished Professional Service Award and the 2013 Service to Families Award by the CTAMFT. Nelba has testified and advocated at the state and federal level on many different mental health initiatives.
Selette M. Jemison is currently a Senior Investment Consultant for MassMutual U.S. She is responsible for providing investment counseling support to the sales and client relationship management efforts and serves as the primary investment contact for assigned clients and/or intermediaries for governmental retirement plans.
Selette has 25 years in the financial services industry with an emphasis of investment consulting experience for large governmental plans. Her prior experiences also include being a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones and held multiple leadership roles within ING’s (Voya) Retirement Services Division such as Senior Investment Consultant, Product Manager and Director of Market Strategy. She started her career at CIGNA as an Investment Accountant with the Investment Management area.
Selette is a frequent speaker on the subject of Financial Education in her local community including being a contributor to Leadership of Greater Hartford Business Leaders. Selette has also filled a role as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hartford teaching Macro Economics.
Selette has an M.B.A. in Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Hartford, CT and a B.S.B.A in Accounting from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT. She is a Certified Mutual Fund Specialist (CFS) and has obtained her Series 6,7,26, and 66 licenses as well as her State of Connecticut Insurance and Long Term Care licenses. She is originally from Paterson, New Jersey and currently resides in Bloomfield with her family.
